Phase 3 Framed

I'm back at last! I moved into my new house two weeks ago, and I finished unpacking this morning (save three boxes of books that are waiting on a new bookshelf to come back in stock). Things have been very busy and stressful and exhausting for the last couple of months, but it's also so exciting and lovely to own my first home. And having more than twice as much space is wonderful. I have an entire room dedicated to my artwork and hobbies.

After unpacking my art studio/craft room, I even got back to a little Japanese embroidery yesterday, which was very exciting as it was the first time I've stitched in months. I should be able to write some blog posts about my phase 4 piece in the next couple of weeks.

But for now, I have exciting news! After five long months, I finally got my phase 3 Hiogi piece back from the framer's. And as usual, Sandy at The Attic Needlework did a beautiful job! Without further ado, here is my Hiogi:

I think the copper and teal frame and mats complement the colors of the fan wonderfully. My phase 2 piece is still my favorite, but this is a very close second. I really love it. 😍 I hope phase 4 will turn out as nicely. 🤞
