Cherry Blossoms and Chrysanthemums Framed

I got my first JE piece back from the framers! Here it is — Cherry Blossoms and Chrysanthemums:

I really love the pale lavender and silver. They're just so delicate and pretty, and they complement the piece so well. The lavender mat helps tie the pale pink and darker purple flowers together, and the silver mat and frame highlight the silver accents in the embroidery. Michael's did a really nice job on this. I went with their masterpiece glass, which is lovely and has almost no glare to it, so the embroidery really shines through.

I hung this in my bedroom, which is also decorated in lavenders and greens:

I think it goes really well with the overall color scheme in the room. And I just feel so peaceful every time I see it. I'm very happy with how it turned out, despite its imperfections. It just goes to show that even imperfect things can be beautiful. 😊
